物聯網(Internet of Things,縮寫IoT)是一個基於網際網路、傳統電信網等資訊承載體,讓所有能夠被獨立尋址的普通物理物件實作互聯互通的網路。物聯網一般為無線網,而由於每個人周圍的裝置可以達到一千至五千個,所以物聯網可能要包含500兆至一千兆個物體。在物聯網上,每個人都可以應用電子標籤將真實的物體上網聯結,在物聯網上都可以查出它們的具體位置。通過物聯網可以用中心電腦對機器、裝置、人員進行集中管理、控制,也可以對家庭裝置、汽車進行遙控,以及搜尋位置、防止物品被盜等。

LED 感測器如何測量脈率和血氧飽和度?Jörg Heerlein 博士解釋,主要測量方法是光電容積描記 (PPG),其原理是測量吸收 LED 的反射光。LED 發射不同波長的光,穿過皮膚或其他身體組織後被反射回來,然後被感測器的檢測器捕捉。從反射光收集的資料可提供生物統計讀數,用於確定生理狀態或健康狀態。
另外,血管中的血量會隨著心臟泵血時週期性地收縮與舒張而變化。因此,感測器能夠通過從反射光獲取的讀數確定脈率。但是,為了獲得最佳結果,身體的不同部位需要不同波長的 LED 光。例如,綠光 (530nm) 適合佩戴在手腕部位的感測器,而用於手指部位的感測器通常搭載紅光 (660nm) 和紅外光 (940nm)。
